A new survey revealed 65% of Brits weren’t confident in their knowledge of fibre, leaving them potentially unaware about the power of fibre, and the symptoms to look for if they are deficient.

The Going Against the Grain survey on behalf of General Mills looked at over 1,000 British adults and revealed that fibre intake levels are around two-thirds of what it should be despite being easy to source.
Not having enough fibre in your diet can have devastating consequences and many people in the survey reported they were experiencing some of the symptoms of fibre deficiency but seemed to be completely unaware of the dietary link.
