Piers Morgan has apologised to Ofcom after he urged his online following to contact the TV watchdog so he could continue to challenge MPs on Good Morning Britain.
GMB was slapped 2,000 complaints over the acid-tongued presenter's feisty interview with Care Minister Helen Whately last week.
During the heated discussion, the 58-year-old called out the MP for the lack of coronavirus testing in care homes after reports thousands of patients have already died from the bug.
While many thought Piers was out of line for the way in which he conducted the interview, many backed the TV host and felt it was fair how he held Helen "to account".
