Queen Camilla has broken her silence about the King's health for the first time since the announcement of his cancer diagnosis.Camilla, 76, smiled as she arrived at a special ceremony at Salisbury Cathedral tonight, where she said: "He’s (Charles) doing extremely well under circumstances.

We are very touched by all of the letters and messages."She continued to put on a brave face despite it being a very difficult time for the Royal Family as her husband, His Majesty King Charles, is said to be receiving treatment for an unspecified cancer.

Her comments this evening come after Buckingham Palace said that the monarch, 75, remains "wholly positive" and has begun treatment, the Mirror reports. The concert at the cathedral is being held to celebrate the work of local charities including The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, The Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Community First – Youth Action Wiltshire and the regimental charities of The Grenadier Guards and The Rifles. The musical evening will feature award-winning concert pianist Rupert Egerton-Smith, who will perform alongside The Band of The Grenadier Guards and The Band and Bugles of The Rifles.Camilla was spotted with Charles on Tuesday for the first time since the news of his diagnosis broke as they took a helicopter to Sandringham after meeting with Prince Harry.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see who is signed up and no one can send messages except the Daily Record team. All you have to do is click here if you're on mobile, select 'Join Community' and you're in!If you're on a desktop, simply scan the QR code above
