Thousands of Brits flocked to the seaside on Bank Holiday Monday as scorching bank holiday temperatures topped 26C in some places.
Bournemouth, Brighton, Southend and Margate beaches appeared packed in pictures of the shoreline, as eager sun seekers scrambled together to get the best of the sun.
It comes as Boris Johnson slightly loosened lockdown rules almost two weeks ago, allowing Brits to enjoy parks and beaches for recreational activities.
Users of these area were supposed to adhere to coronavirus social distancing guidelines but with the sheer amount of people it looked impossible.
