TWICE are opening up about their incredible career. The members of the K-pop girl group – Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu – got candid a new interview with Teen Vogue, out now.

During the conversation, they spoke about their group dynamic, their physical and mental health, being role models as idols, and much more. Keep reading to find out what they had to say… Dahyun on watching Jihyo’s solo performance on Inkigayo last year: “Just seeing her fulfilling everything when nine people usually split up each role and responsibility… She was taking it all in herself, and it felt really emotional watching that.” Nayeon on TWICE being one of the first groups to speak openly about prioritizing mental health: “We’re completely different [from our idol selves].

Idols do have to use a lot of energy, and there is kind of a limit to how much a person can use their energy. We push all of that [away] while being an idol.” Jihyo on having good energy between the group members: “We’re really thankful [that we have] nine members.

For one person, one member can be their favorite and they might not like the rest, but because we push our team of nine together, the team vibes are really good.
