Two children injured in the devastating stabbing attack in Southport have been discharged from hospital. Three children tragically died following the knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class on Monday (July 29).
Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, died as a result of their injuries. Eight other children were injured in the attack, including five in a critical condition, while two adults were also critically hurt.
In an update issued this morning (August 1), Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust confirmed that two of the injured children have since been allowed to leave hospital.
In a statement, the trust said: “We are delighted that two of the children involved in Monday’s awful incident have now been discharged.
