A woman has been taken to hospital after a car ploughed into a pharmacy in Inverness.Emergency services raced to Lochardil Pharmacy and Travel Clinic on Morven Road in the city after the alarm was raised at around 2.20pm on Wednesday.
Ambulance crews attended and a woman in her 60s was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.A picture taken from the scene which was shared with the Record positioned inside the shop after it crashed through the front door.
The area could be seen to be cordoned off and police say their enquiries into establishing the circumstances are ongoing. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.20pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, we were called to a report of a car crashing into a building on Morven Road, Inverness.
Emergency services attended and the female driver was taken to hospital as a precaution. There are no other reported injuries.
