Eamonn Holmes has escaped busy London amid a tough time in his personal life, as he told his fans he's 'heading North.' The GB News star took to social media to post a snap of himself in a car on the M25 towards Heathrow as he headed away from the South.

Eamonn, who recently admitted he is "not ok" amid his divorce from Ruth Langsford and crippling health issues, told his fans: "Heading North.

Have a good day." He then engaged with people in the comments section as he responded to fans' concerns that he was posting on social media while driving.

One person said: "You shouldn't be on your phone whilst driving," to which he hit back: "If only I could drive." Another added: "Have a good day Eamonn.
