Campaigners fighting to save a cottage hospital are urging people take the “last chance” to have their say on the facility’s future.
A consultation on the way forward for Kirkcudbright Hospital, along with three other mothballed facilities across the region, is now back in full swing following the general election.
Six options are on the table for the Kirkcudbright site – including permanent closure or creating a community health and social care hub.
As part of the consultation, a public drop-in session will be held in the town on August 20, with the Save Kirkcudbright Hospital Action Group urging people to attend.
