Lili Reinhart opened up about her experience with chronic illness. In an interview with Self, the 28-year-old Riverdale actress revealed that she had been diagnosed with a chronic disorder called interstitial cystitis.
The outlet described it as an illness “where a person’s bladder or bladder wall becomes irritated and inflamed. The first was taken in a doctor’s office in Germany where she was receiving treatment for what was then thought to be a bladder infection or UTI.
She also included screenshots of text messages where she described symptoms such as losing her hair and meeting with various doctors. “I’m just in misery,” she wrote in one of the texts.
