Former Love Island hunk Adam Collard has bravely spoken out about his battles with addiction and depression, calling 2024 his "hardest year" in a heartfelt Instagram post.
Supported by his pregnant fiancée Laura Woods, he reached out with words of comfort to those also fighting their demons, sharing a heartfelt message along with a series of thought-provoking cards.
Adam opened up saying: "2024, the hardest year of my life. I've seen a lot of amazing 2024 posts over the last few days... but if you're struggling right now, remember that Instagram is a highlights reel, and if you're struggling you aren't alone." He said the past year had been "tougher than any before".
He continued, "Struggled with my mental health more than ever. Lost something important. Struggled with injuries. Suffered with addiction to painkillers and sleeping pills and justified it as 'it doesn't affect fitness' or because it wasn't booze." He disclosed his struggle with depression, medications, and personal loss: "Got diagnosed with depression.
