Housing association 'deeply concerned' about mum's home after child rushed to hospital

A baby was rushed to hospital after burning her face on exposed pipes at a flat in Stockport which her mum had complained about.

Hallie, who has just turned one, had to have the wound dressed after she 'stuck her face' against the heating pipes at the family's flat in Pembry Close.

It comes after her mum, Paris Longson, asked her housing association, Stockport Homes, to cover the pipes that appear in every room.

The 30-year-old mum-of-two has also had to deal with mould at the house where she has lived for six years. She says her daughter was in and out of hospital last year with bronchitis, which she believes is linked to the mould which is affecting 'every single room'. "Every single room is covered in mould," she said. "The floor is just thick with mould. "The bed mattresses, the baby's mattresses.
