Cat Deeley was forced to go off camera during Tuesday's This Morning as she suffered a 'coughing fit'. During a GP segment about anti-depressants, the host could be heard coughing in the background. "Cat's having to sneak out because she's about to have a coughing fit," Ben said, as he joked: "We've got doctors here, we're alright!" Professor Tony Kendrick stopped his segment to say he 'hopes she's ok,' as he lost his trail of thought. The 47-year-old had warned fans she was suffering from a cold before the show started as herself and Ben did their two-way with Lorraine Kelly during her show.

Ben was then left alone to warn fans there were less than five minutes to enter the Coin Drop competition, however, Cat then returned looking flustered, as her co-host asked if she was okay. "I think so," she said as she looked to breathe a sigh of relief.

Concerned fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter as one called for her to take a COVID test. "Please do a Covid test, Cat.

It’s on the rise again.Thank you," said one. After the break, Cat looked visibly better, as Ben asked her if she was all recovered, to which she responded: "I think so, I've got a bit of a runny eye and I'm sucking a strepsil, but I'm okay!" "That'll sort you out!" Ben exclaimed.
