Emergency services have scrambled to a flat fire in Edinburgh. Firefighters received reports of a blaze in a property at around 8:20pm on July 24.
Six fire engines, a height appliance, an ambulance and police sped to the scene on Gorgie Park Close and remain in attendance.
Shocking images from the incident show giant ferocious flames bursting out a top-floor window as thick plumes of black smoke pour out of another.
Several emergency service vehicles are parked outside the property as concerned neighbours stand and watch. It is currently unclear if there are any casualties following the incident.A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they received reports of a fire in a property at 20:18 and sent six appliances and a height appliance to the scene.The Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland are also in attendance.
