Lauren Oakley has sent a heartfelt message of support to Amy Dowden as she steps in to train with JB Gill for his next Strictly Come Dancing performance.
After delivering the foxtrot to Toploader's Dancing In The Moonlight with the JLS star on Saturday night (26 October), 34 year old Amy became 'unwell' backstage and was taken to hospital.
Doubts quickly arose about her participation in the upcoming episode of the hit BBC One show this weekend, and it was confirmed by a spokesperson that Amy would be stepping back from the competition this week to focus on her health.
Stepping into her dancing shoes, it was announced that Lauren Oakley would be JB's partner this week. On Monday evening (28 October), Lauren took to Instagram to share a supportive message for Amy, alongside the BBC's statement regarding her absence.
