Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson Diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease
Phil Robertson is battling Alzheimer’s disease. The 78-year-old reality star is best known as the patriarch of the Duck Dynasty family.
His son Jase revealed the diagnosis on the latest episode of his “Unashamed with the Robertson Family” podcast.
In addition to Alzheimer’s, Phil has been battling a blood disorder as well. Keep reading to find out more… “Phil’s not doing well,” Jase said on the podcast. “According to the doctors, they’re sure that he has some sort of blood disease that’s causing all kinds of problems.” Jase says the blood disorder has “accelerated” and “it’s causing problems with his entire body and he has early stages of Alzheimer’s so if you put those things together, he’s just not doing well.
He’s really struggling.” Phil‘s family is focused on making him comfortable amid his health struggles. “We have a team of doctors then we have another set of doctors who are looking at all of the tests and they’re all in agreement that there is no curing what he has,” Jase said. “What do you do?
